Faye Shapiro is a composer and performer. As an artist, she is interested in the voice as a radical (non-) model for (non-) subjectivity, connecting the body, language, and space, using it to undermine given societal constructions. She has performed and exhibited widely, creating site-specific vocal compositions, sound installations, videos, live performances, and facilitating collective creative processes as a curator.
